[ Qrow could go physically track down Yang right now, but... eh. He's away from the Convoy, and even if he wasn't it's big enough he doesn't feel like scouting. ]
[Fortunately, Yang hasn't strayed very far from the Wild Rider, lounging on the hood with her back on the mirror doing some sketches with some scavenged paper and pencils; Ruby in one of her scythe flips, Weiss doing an elegant riposte, Jaune with his shield at the ready, and herself dancing with Blake at the school ball, you know, normal stuff. A lot of them are good action poses, movement, drawn from memory. It's good practice. She looks up when she hears her Uncle's voice on the radio, and slides off the car, placing the drawing materials on the passenger-seat before grabbing the radio.]
Sure thing, Uncle Qrow. What's up? Are you away from the Convoy right now?
[Qrow gets tetchy if he doesn't have time to go off and Brood somewhere.]
Gotcha. That makes sense. I guess I've got time to make you eat some dirt, Uncle Qrow.
[Listen, Yang knows what a badass her uncle is, but that's when he has his weapon. Hand to hand is Yang's thing, and she's had some of the best instructors around, her father most of all. She might actually have the edge in skill here against Qrow for once.]
[ He'd asked Yang for a reason, after all. Tai might be semi-retired these days, but he'd started teaching her years and years ago. ]
'Bout five minutes south-east of the Convoy, just off the highway. Found a little clearing where we won't be tripping over those thorns the whole time.
[ And, indeed, he's right where he said he would be. His hearse is pulled off to the side of the clearing, while Qrow himself is busying himself with rolling any too-large rocks out of the way. He's not looking out for Yang, but his new cat ears twitch and swivel when he hears her approach and he's quick to look up. ]
"Hey, nice ears, Uncle Qrow." Yang laughs when she sees the ears react to her presence, then points to her own wolf ears. "Guess we've got all the bases covered now, huh."
He's been busy; with the rocks being moved away they have a decent sized sparring arena to move in. "You mind if I do a few quick stretches before we start?" She asks. She wants to be nice and limber for this.
"Blake accused me of copying her. Can you believe that?"
He says it with a great deal of affection in his town, however. His ears do look closer to a cat than a wolf, and he and Blake sharing a hair color certainly makes the comparison even more obvious.
And, you know, her ability lets her make copies of herself. The copycat accusing people of copying her. It's funny.
"Go right ahead, kiddo."
Qrow rolls his own shoulders while Yang starts on her stretches. He's already pretty warmed up from clearing things away, but he's sure he's going to get flipped over Yang's shoulder at least once. Best to make sure he's not a risk of wrenching his shoulder in the process.

Hey, Firecracker. Got a question for you.

[ He definitely needs his brooding space, but he's not an idiot. Safety in numbers, even when he's part of those numbers. ]
Remember how I said Harbinger's not here? I figured so long as that's the case, I better make sure my hand-to-hand's as good as I can manage.

I'll come to you. Where are you?
